“Best Plant Data Base” 3 years running by Top Ten Reviews.
“Landscape Vision is extremely easy to use. This is one of its strengths, as you can simply drag items onto your property picture and resize them as needed. The program also offers a comprehensive, well–designed foliage library that includes detailed plant descriptions, accurate photos and interesting information on over 1,000 plants. Landscape Vision’s plant library was the most detailed of any landscape design products we reviewed. Landscape Vision also includes a United States hardiness map, so you know which plants will work best in your climate”

The beauty of it is its simplicity. It is easy to use; even for computer novices. Just click and drag. If you want to be hands-on in the beautification of your dream garden...THEN do not ever forget to get yourself a copy of this "USER-FRIENDLY" Software!
Great experience to have a chance to review this software... I can actually use the knowledge and apply it once I make my Dream Garden...

Landscape Vision design software program, based on my dive-right-in approach. One thing I liked was the plant library, which is conveniently organized by planting zones: you begin by selecting your region's zone, and thereafter you are shown only plants suited to your region. Similarly, you can automatically narrow down plant choices by choosing between plants meant for sun, partial sun, or shade.
• This landscape design software program has a nice plant "library."
• The "free-form hardscape" drawings are crisp.
• Landscape Vision has switched to a "full screen" format.

Landscape Vision is our second pick for landscaping software. It has many of the same features as the Punch Master Landscape Pro, but is not quite as advanced.
This is not necessarily a bad thing however. Not all users need the advanced features of Punch, so Landscape Vision may be a better fit. Plus, it's about $20 cheaper than Punch, so you aren't paying for features you may not be using.
Both of these software programs, Landscape Vision and Punch, are comparable to the $500+ programs we have tested in our opinion. In fact, they may be easier to use since they are geared more towards the homeowner than a Landscaping Engineer who is used to using CAD software programs.
